PARAFFIN WAX: NOT ALL CREATED EQUAL!
BUMPLYBEE brings SPA-level hand and foot care to you through the power of warming wax and natural plant essences. Using tips to maximize the benefits of heat, we recommend applying 10 to 15 layers of paraffin for optimal heat retention. Prolong the effect by using plastic liners and warm gloves or boots for hands and feet.
For very dry, cracked skin, apply a light coat of moisturizing cream prior to dipping, and rub additional lotion into cuticles and dry areas. Apply more lotion after the paraffin bath as well.
Paraffin wax has a high heat capacity, allowing it to absorb and retain a great amount of heat. A paraffin wax spa takes advantage of this heat-retaining capacity through a simple process called heat transfer.
We do not recommend reusing paraffin that has been removed from the skin, as it contains sweat, dry skin, and other impurities that can build up over time, requiring more frequent cleaning of the bath.
